Hi, I have one question about gm_dma_malloc (or gm_register_memory) and mmap. As I know, the maximum memory available for registration (i.e. dma) is 503 MBytes. I got this value from kernel message, when I load Mryinet GM driver. However, NIC memory in my Myrinet NIC is 8 Mbytes. So, I can mmap upto 8Mbytes theoretically for memory mapping. I am wondering the difference between gm_dma_malloc and mmap in Myrinet NIC.
