Using Socket -GM

Hi,

 I have Socket -GM compiled and installed. I am trying to verify my applications
uses Socket-GM and not Socket interface of Linux kernel. In doing this I enable
the debugging option(-DMODULE_DEBUG ) during compilation and when I
run application to use Sockets-GM it doesn't print any kernel message.
Can I conclude from this Socket-GM is not being used or Iam missing
something here ?

Environment
OS : Linux (Kernel version 2.4.21)
GM : gm-2.0.12
Socket-GM -1.4
