Yep, it's a known bug.  The Gtk2 interface is a lot newer and not as
fully supported (IE, it hasn't even been put in a formal release).
But you're right, it does look much better.  The best interface is the
HTML one.  Not because it necessarily looks the best, but because it's
the one we "officially support".  The Gtk2 and Tk ones are still
useful, however.
