RE: new problem with np-cerberus

Problem solved, anyway I notice something that calls my attention, when I
run service np-cerberus start I received some warnings messages that don't
allow the system load the modules, so I run "insmod -f ipsec" to force it
and I received:

[root@ramon2 root]# insmod -f ipsec
Using /lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/net/ipsec.o

(/lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/net/ipsec.o) is compiled with a gcc
version 2 compiler, while the kernel you are running is compiled with

Module ipsec loaded, with warnings



With this it looks like the module is loading, anyway playing a little bit I
stop the service and I received:


[root@ramon2 root]# service np-cerberus stop

Flushing ipsec rules:                                      [  OK  ]
Flushing SA database:                                      [  OK  ]
Unloading np-cerberus: rmmod: module ipt_ACTION is not loaded
rmmod: module ipt_IKE is not loaded
rmmod: module ipt_PRECONFIGURED is not loaded
rmmod: module ipt_STATIC is not loaded
rmmod: module ipt_IPSEC is not loaded
rmmod: module ipt_COMPOUND is not loaded
                                                           [FAILED]

Thats says that even using "insmod -f ipsec" some modules are not loading,
so how can I solve this? Please let me know if the rpms you are building
(cerberus and plutoplus) will solve this problem, or is there another way to
avoid this

That's likely a problem of your iptables source directory having
moved?

Err...  in the compile line, it's pointing to /include/include which
means you probably didn't give a proper argument to --with-iptables=PATH
