How can I test perl modules?

I've tried to run sample perl module from

http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/tutorial/tutorial-5/toolkit/perl/perl_module.pl

I've also modified the snmpd.conf to load the module

# head /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf
perl do "/etc/snmp/perl_module/pl";

snmpd doesn't display any error, so I guess it's loaded .. 

but when I try to query it, I get no answer

# snmpget -v2c -c public localhost .1.3.6.1.4.1.8072.999
NET-SNMP-MIB::netSnmp.999 = No Such Object available on this agent at
this OID

What do I do wrong?
