    agent/snmpd.c:line 885

	send_easy_trap(0, 0);


Delete (or comment out) that line, and recompile the agent.
You might want to do the same for line 1033:

	send_easy_trap(SNMP_TRAP_ENTERPRISESPECIFIC, 3);

and line 395:

	send_easy_trap(SNMP_TRAP_ENTERPRISESPECIFIC, 2);

as well.

No.
You'd just need the SNMP library, and the 'snmptrap' binary.
(And probably the MIB files as well)
