perl, bulkwalk, OID not increasing, bulkwalk looping

Hello,
I'm using:
NET-SNMP version: 5.1.2
perl 5.8.3
Solaris 2.8 and 2.9
While using SNMP.pm with async bulkwalk I got into a problem I'm not
sure how to handle. I'm polling more than 10.000 cisco routers with
bulkwalk and a some of these routers don't increases their OIDs. The
perl snmp modules does not discover this and enters a never-ending
loop.
1. Is there a way for the perl SNMP bulkwalk to discover non-increasing
OIDs ? The "snmpbulkwalk"-commands discovers this error, and stops
processing. Why does not the perl discover this and returns the handle?
2. Is there a way to force timeout on a SNMP::Session. Since I'm using
the async version of bulkwalk I can find the session handle, but I
don't know how to force release of the socket and resources connected
to the handle.
