Hmmm... can you use lsof on the PID of snmpd, and see how many files it has
open? If it isn't release a file descriptor, that's a pretty serious bug. But
it might be an OS limit that has been hit....
Of course, I'm not sure what we should do if we can't read the hosts.allow
file.
