Suse Linux 9.3 snmpd.conf

Hi everybody,
 
i have some trouble with the snmpd.conf file under Suse Linux 9.3.
I generated a standard configfile with snmpconf -g basic_setup.
But the snmp querys wont work. 
I tested this steps on a debian system, i just copied the snmpd.conf
file
to /usr/local/etc/snmp and it works (i test this with the Getif tool)
But it wont work on the suse system.
i copied the snmpd.conf to
/etc/snmpd.conf
/usr/local/share/snmpd/snmpd.conf
/etc/snmp/snmpd.conf
/usr/local/share/etc/snmp/snmpd.conf
 
but the queries wont work.
 
Can please someone tell me which is the right folder?
 
I use the snmpd version 5.2.1
