traphandle question

Esteemed folks wondering if you can help
I am receiving a trap on the community string defined "stalker". My
snmptrapd.conf file somehow can't pick up the smtpInputActive trap, only
the default trap is called. Once i comment out the default handler,
nothing is done at all. I am checking all of this , as my
hangle-CGATE-trap script, writes to a file the incoming $1 value. What
am i doing wrong?
