hi
i have net-snmpd running on a server, version 5.2.1, and when some snmp client
connects, a message appears in /var/log/messages, like this:
Jul 16 23:02:10 zerg snmpd[30523]: Connection from UDP: [1.2.3.4]:50354
how can i disable this? i saw that there is the "-a" command line option to
snmpd, but it's not given.
[root@email snmp]# ps ax |grep snmpd
30523 ? S 4:34 /usr/sbin/snmpd -Lsd -Lf /dev/null -p /var/run/snmpd
OPTIONS
-a Log the source addresses of incoming requests.
thx.
