I'm running net-SNMP on a Linux machine (Linux 2.6.16.2, Debian 3.1) to
test out the sending & receiving traps mechanism.
In snmptrapd.conf I created an user: (createUser -e 0x010203040506 modem
MD5 raytheon DES nlosRadio).
I ran snmptrapd (snmptrapd -c snmptrap.conf -f -Lo), then sent coldStart
trap from the local host (snmptrap -v 3 -e 0x010203040506 -u modem -a MD5
-A raytheon -x DES -X nlosRadio -l authNoPriv localhost 42 coldStart.0).
After "USM processing completed" there's an error "inconsistent EngineID
information in message". Then during netsnmp_trapd_check_auth() the trap is
dropped (No access configuration - dropping trap).

I don't understand why it's complaining about the engineID and which access
configuration am I missing?

Thanks,
Chau
