OK - how is this tool configured?
In particular, what community string does it use?

If you're not sure, try running the agent using

     snmpd -f -Le -d   {plus any other necessary options)

and probe it using STG.  What does a typical incoming request look like?

That much looks OK.  Which makes me more suspicious about the
community string that you're using.
