Fwd: Problem about Set some MIB item

Dear Jiang:
the problem such as ifAdminStatus, if i want to modify 1 to 2, the result is
unchanges,
and the mib browser show the object item can not modify.
the more obviously situation is the Host-Resources-MIB, the object such like
hrSystemDate, the spec show it can be change, but in fact , if i modify the
date from 2006/10/01 to 2006/11/11, the date will modify to 2006/11/11 in
one moment, but soon in the next moment
the date will back to 2006/10/01, the result still unchanged.

I don't know the reasons, can you give me any advice
