Fwd: about gcc -o snmpdemoapp ... -lsnmp

Dear Thomas:
However, after I install net-snmp-devel-5.3-1.fc5.i386.rpm, the messgage
shows that

net-snmp=5.3.1 is needed by net-snmp-devel-5.3.1-1.i386

but if i install net-snmp-5.3.1-fc5.i386.rpm , it will conflict to my
existing net-snmp-5.3.1
and , in fact , mib2c in net-snmp-5.3.1-fc5.i386.rpm is somehow not work
which i had
testing before.

So, do there exist any other solution about the problem of  make snmpdemoapp

What's the output of "net-snmp-config --libs"? You may need to install
the net-snmp-devel package first if you're using the Fedora-supplied
packages.
