Hi,

Sorry to repeat this question on the list, but I've been unable to
find out any information on this.

The FAQ says you can have "anonymous" unauthenticated SNMPv3 requests
of the form:

   snmpget -v 3 -l noAuthNoPriv localhost sysUpTime.0

I've been unable to work out the snmp.conf settings for this, does
anyone have any examples?

What I'm trying to do is allow access to specific objects without
having to specify a community string.

Similarly, I'd be interested to know if anyone can confirm whether this
is really is possible with Net-SNMP or SNMPv3 in general?

Any information on the above two questions is gratefully received!

Thanks,

Leon...
