Hello, i'am running snmpd daemon on solaris. ./snmpwalk -Os -c public -v 1 zeus system snmpwalk: Unknown host (No such file or directory) bash-3.00# ./snmpwalk -Os -c public -v 1 localhost system sysDescr.0 = STRING: SunOS venus 5.10 Generic_118833-20 sun4u sysObjectID.0 = OID: netSnmpAgentOIDs.3 sysUpTime.0 = Timeticks: (45300) 0:07:33.00 sysContact.0 = STRING: dchandra ./snmpset -c private -v 1 localhost system.sysContact.0 s [email protected] Timeout: No Response from localhost... ./snmpstatus -c public -v 1 localhost [udp:127.0.0.1:161]=>[SunOS venus 5.10 Generic_118833-20 sun4u] Up: 0:31:52.86 Interfaces: 2, Recv/Trans packets: 3291977/1532723 | IP: 2427840/1527665 Iam unable set any value using snmpset.
