multiple snmpd daemons vs. multiple agentX subagents problem

Hi all, I'm seeking to understand better the mechanism that enables communication between a running snmpd and a subagent. I've looked in the tutorials for agentX subagents, but it didn't supply me with the information I need. My goal is to run several snmp master agents (that's easy; I just bind every daemon to a separate interface) - The problems start when I want to bind a different agentX subagent to each daemon. (The reason I want to do this is that each subagent should report a similar MIB branch subtree - and the agentX protocol does not deal with overlapping MIB branches). How can I know which configuration files to modify or what changes do I need to make in the "tutorial" subagent (and/or master) in order for this to work? Can anyone give me some clues? Thank you very much in advance, Ido. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
