agentx sub-agent setup

Hello.  I have the agentx master agent setup, which I see the socket
established in /var/agentx/master after putting the 'agentx master'
entry in my snmpd.conf file and restarting snmpd.  I have one host which
I passed the -X option when starting snmpd to make it an agentx
subagent, but it doesn't seem to be working correctly.  I can tell
because I am getting the following error in the messages file of the
server that has the master agent setup:

 

Error: Failed to connect to the agentx master agent: Unknown host (No
such file or directory)

 

Any suggestions on how I can make the master agent known to the
subagent?
