Re: Error while running the subagent

I tred to check if ifMib is implemented in the master.
The command and response i got is the following.

[root@mcagw treesa]# snmpget -v 1 -c public 192.168.24.100 IF-MIB::ifInErrors.2
Error in packet
Reason: (noSuchName) There is no such variable name in this MIB.
Failed object: IF-MIB::ifInErrors.2

Should i try any other command, to check the same??

PS: My aim is to add a mib module (which is
not part of the master agent) dynamically, which
can monitor some characteristics of the system and
then send traps to a server. For that purpose, i took
ifMib as an example module.
