Hi Christine. Your question probably belongs on the Nagios and Cacti mail lists. If all you want to do is poll the Windows server, you can install the Microsoft SNMP Service using add/remove programs in the control panel (under Windows Components / Management and Monitoring Tools) and then configure it using the Services control panel. This will install the Microsoft SNMP agent. You could instead install Net-SNMP on the Windows server, but you probably don't need to if all you want to do is poll the server using SNMP v1. I suggest you use the Microsoft agent for now to keep it simple.
