[Net-snmp5.4 on redhat9.0] error when make

Hi, everyone

I try to install net-snmp in my system(redhat9.0 kernal:2.4.20-8) these 2 days,
but I failed though I have tried more than one version. 
I need your help.

my last version is net-snmp5.4
my steps:
1) ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/net-snmp-5.4
2) make

and raise error when make

/usr/bin/ld: ../blib/arch/auto/NetSNMP/agent/agent.so: undefined versioned symbol name _LIB_VERSION@@GLIBC_2.0
/usr/bin/ld: failed to set dynamic section sizes: Bad value
