RHEL 4.4 SNMP version

Hi All,
 
With RHEL 4.4 we have following version of net-snmp rpms installed.
net-snmp-libs-5.1.2-11.EL4.7
net-snmp-5.1.2-11.EL4.7

I am facing two issues with these version of net-snmp.
 
1. Application dumps core, this happens through a SNMPGet written by our
team. This application was ported from 3.4 to 4.4.
This was working fine in 3.4 with 5.0.9 version of SNMP which comes from
3.4 OS itself.

------SNMPGet -------- then backtrace output.
 
This dump is not consistent.
 
Let me know if any thing has change w.r.t Net-SNMP in 5.1.2-11.
 
2. One more thing we have CLI application which does SNMP queries to get
some values and set some values.
When i execute my CLI i get the following message on the console.
No log handling enabled - turning on stderr logging
Cannot find module (cpp): At line 0 in (none)

I tried using snmp_disable_stderrlog but this did not work out.
I checked the MIBDIRS and also the path of the MIBS.
 
What could be wrong here? Please let me know.
