AgentX is designed to use a connection-oriented link
between the master and subagents. As such, TCP
is the standard recommended transport, and should
be supported by any AgentX implementation.

The Net-SNMP code is structured in such a way that
AgentX can run over non-connection-oriented transports
(such as UDP) as well, but this is not standard and may
not work with other AgentX implementations.

But if it works for you, then fine.

Dave
