Hi,

We have problem with configuration of the access control list.
What we are doing is to including the net-snmp src code without any
modification to our embedded system and compile it together with our
application and start the agent by running snmpd with flags to support our
subagent. We don't install it in our system. Now when we are trying to use
snmpv3 context, we have problem with access control configuration files.
Could you please help us to point out what we should do to define these
access list? Should we use snmpd.conf to do this? If so, where can we set
the path to our snmpd.conf and snmp.conf. is there any complete example how
it should be configured. I have read some document about this in your site
but couldn't find a complete example.

Thanks,

/MF

What exactly are you asking here?

The Access Control configuration is usually done via the snmpd.conf file.
See the FAQ entry
How do I configure access control?
        http://www.net-snmp.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ:Agent_23

(and the one that follows).

I'm a bit confused why you're asking for example _code_.
Surely you don't intend to duplicate all the existing VACM processing?

Dave
