Re: snmptrap on Win32 platform

This is resolved,  apparently the trap daemon has some kind of issue with 
the first request that comes in, everything after that works fine.  That 
was enough for me to do what I needed, so I am not investigating further.

What OS is the receiving box?

I'm more than a little hazy as regards running snmptrapd on Win32
myself!

I'd suggest simplifying that down to

    disableAuthorization    yes

Then run

    snmptrapd -f -Le -d

What happens when you send your trap then?
