And snmptrapd will only be listening on this one port anyway. Why does it receive *anything* on port "X+1" (163?) What happens if you run the agent with *just* the "informsink" (and trapcommity) directives? > What did I forget in the configuration files ? I haven't tested this, but you may need to put the trapcommunity line *before* the informsink line.
