Re: installing net-snmp 5.4.1.2 on solaris is failing

ok guys, sorry for the very little information I provided, my problem was
that a message somelike " large support ...  PERLPROG " on SunOS 5.8,
anyways I solved it, it was somewhere on the net-snmp site. But I have one
more question, informative type, I have installed netsnmp on red hat linux
and both master agent and subagent were running normally, but on solaris, i
have a failure of type:

fatal: libnetsnmpagent.so.15: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed
when i ldd my subagent for example, it says that this library is not found,
why do I need to create a symbolic link or add the path to LD_LIBRARY_PATH
in solaris, whereas in Red Hat when i finished the installation procedure,
symbolic links where already created from /usr/local/lib to
/usr/local/net-snmp/lib ?
