Either set a lower threshold (as Dan suggests), or temporarily tweak
the sensor MIB
code to serve dummy values instead.   Either hardcoded within the
sensor module itself,
or ready from a text file (which you could then edit while the agent
is running).

Once you're happy with the monitoring program, you can then revert the sensor
MIB code to report the real values again.
