Oh yes I think I know the problem.
You're right. The type of macAddress is octet string with length 6.
So right now, how to implement the data type like the octet string like this? for example for mac address 'AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF'.

Is this actually a text string ("AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF" - length 17),
or a binary octet string ('0xaa', '0xbb', '0xcc', '0xdd', '0xee',
'0xff' - length 6)
?
The latter would be the more usual representation of a MacAddress.

What is the MIB definition of this object?
