Is it one particular MIB file which fails, or is it apparently random? Does it always fail at the same point in the MIB file? What does this MIB file look like? You might need to turn on the relevant debugging output to monitor what it's doing, or use a source code debugger. But there's not really anything we can do, given a fragment of non-Net-SNMP code, and minimal information.
