Querying SNMP from a different class IP

Hello,


in my society we would like having an SNMP/Monitor machine in a different
class from other machines (let's say ip class A for the querying machine and
class B for the others).


I am trying to get this, but I have a big problem...I made all exceptions in
firewalls, I installed snmp on clients and snmp + mrtg on the monitor
machine, but I can not get a correct result...I always get a "snmpget:
Timeout" or a "Timeout: No Response from ....".


I am not skilled in snmp, so, I think that I missed something in the conf
file or in the community...anyone has an idea?
