Nagios plugin? init-snmp()? There's quite a leap between the two, and I have no idea how you're crossing them, but the Frankenstein experiments won't help. The one tip I can give is to store the remote engineIDs on the client to skip the discovery phase. > 2. I think your terminology is wrong, but if you have a cache, cache the keys.
