Re: timeout error while executing snmpwalk

Thanks Dave.

I executed both the commands for the server. 

snmpget is showing "Time out: no response from server" error.
snmpgetnext -d ... is resending the request 5 times and throwing "Time 
out: no response from server" error at the end.

I am unable to find the issue. Could you please help me?

You could try adding the option   "--16bitIDs=yes"   to the snmpwalk 
command.
It may be that the Windows SNMP server is mangling the request IDs when
it sends back the responses, and so the snmpwalk command will ignore them.

Otherwise, try running the command

    snmpgetnext -d .... system

(using the same options as for snmpwalk), and let us know what it reports.
