It looks as if the MIB files aren't installed on your Debian system. (Or else they are installed in one place, and the tools are looking somewhere else). Try running the command snmpwalk -Dparse-mibs -Os ... and look at the debug output. Early on should be an indication of which directories are being searched for MIB files. What does this report? Where are the MIB files actually located?
