RE: How to register v5.4.1 agent on IPv6 addresses?

  OK, when the agent is running on that agentaddress line, it generates
traps but attempts to walk the MIB all time out.

  When I change the line to "agentaddress udp:161" then traps work and I
can successfully walk the MIB.

  Something appears to be seriously messed up with the IPv6 support in
snmpd v5.4.1.  If I have to I suppose I can get resources budgeted to
update to rebuild using v5.5, but I'd rather fix the problem with this
code if possible.
