  Switching gears for a minute, is there any way to use IPv6 addresses
for trap recipients? I've tried the following but both forms result in
snmpd errors:

trapsess -v 3 -u user -l authNoPriv -a MD5 -A userpw
fe80::214:22ff:fe33:8177

trapsess -v 3 -u user -l authNoPriv -a MD5 -A userpw
udp6:[fe80::214:22ff:fe33:8177]

  Log errors:

cep snmpd[15019]: /usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf: line 43: Error:
snmpd: failed to parse this line or the remote trap receiver is down.
Possible cause:
cep snmpd[15019]: snmpd: snmpd_parse_config_trapsess():
cep snmpd[15019]: net-snmp: 1 error(s) in config file(s)
cep snmpd[15019]: NET-SNMP version 5.4.1

  Thanks,

  Ron
