I thought that the default was to enable encryption support (as long as the system you are using has the required libraries).
What version of the software are you using?
Net-snmp 5.5
What operating system are you working with?
Debian 2.6.26-19
How did you run the configure command?
1. ./configure --prefix=/home/symbol/net-snmp-5.5/sanjay --with-openssl=/usr/bin/openssl
2. ./configure --prefix=/home/symbol/net-snmp-5.5/sanjay --with-openssl=/usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8
3. ./configure --prefix=/home/symbol/net-snmp-5.5/sanjay --with-ldflags="$LDFLAGS -lcrypto"
Do you have OpenSSL installed?
