We were getting:

# snmpget -v 2c -c public  localhost:1611 .1.3.6.1.4.1.34039.10.9 .1.3.6.1.4.1.34039.10.2
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.34039.10.9 = No Such Instance currently exists at this OID

But - thanks for your help - I think we found a bug in the application and it now replies:

# snmpget -v 2c -c public  localhost:1611 .1.3.6.1.4.1.34039.10.9 .1.3.6.1.4.1.34039.10.2
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.34039.10.9 = INTEGER: 0
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.34039.10.2 = No Such Instance currently exists at this OID

snmpd does not crash anymore. Could it be it was the cause for snmpd crashing?

Other outputs you asked for (before, after the "fix" the output is the same):

# snmpgetnext -v 2c -c public localhost:1611 .1.3.6.1.4.1.34039.10.2
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.34039.10.2 = No more variables left in this MIB View (It is past the end of the MIB tree)

# snmpgetnext -v 2c -c public localhost:1611 .1.3.6.1.4.1.34039.10.1.9999
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.34039.10.1.9999 = No more variables left in this MIB View (It is past the end of the MIB tree)
