Hello Now i am able to see the trap in snmptrapd . The subagent is sending the trap to snmpd only once, but some how the output of snmptrapd shows the sent trap received 2 times. In my snmpd.conf file i have only one entry for trap2sink 10.10.10.188:162 public ./snmptrapd -f -Le -d Received 162 bytes from UDP: [10.10.10.188]:47098->[10.10.10.188] 0000: 30 81 9F 02 01 01 04 06 70 75 62 6C 69 63 A7 81 0.......public.. 0016: 91 02 04 22 A0 C2 55 02 01 00 02 01 00 30 81 82 ..."..U......0.. 0032: 30 0F 06 08 2B 06 01 02 01 01 03 00 43 03 01 18 0...+.......C... 0048: 9D 30 17 06 0A 2B 06 01 06 03 01 01 04 01 00 06 .0...+.......... 0064: 09 2B 06 01 02 01 0E 10 02 01 30 15 06 09 2B 06 .+........0...+. 0080: 01 02 01 0E 01 01 00 40 08 31 2E 39 2E 38 2E 37 [email protected] 0096: 00 30 16 06 0A 2B 06 01 02 01 0E 09 01 01 01 40 .0...+.........@ 0112: 08 38 2E 38 2E 38 2E 38 00 30 16 06 0A 2B 06 01 .8.8.8.8.0...+.. 0128: 02 01 0E 09 01 02 01 40 08 34 2E 34 2E 34 2E 34 [email protected] 0144: 00 30 0F 06 0A 2B 06 01 02 01 0E 09 01 07 01 02 .0...+.......... 0160: 01 02 .. 2011-07-21 16:15:32 <UNKNOWN> [UDP: [10.10.10.188]:47098->[10.10.10.188]]: DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (71837) 0:11:58.37 SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: OSPF-TRAP-MIB::ospfVirtIfStateChange OSPF-MIB::ospfRouterId.0 = IpAddress: 49.46.57.46 OSPF-MIB::ospfVirtIfAreaId.1 = IpAddress: 56.46.56.46 OSPF-MIB::ospfVirtIfNeighbor.1 = IpAddress: 52.46.52.46 OSPF-MIB::ospfVirtIfState.1 = INTEGER: 2 Received 162 bytes from UDP: [10.10.10.188]:56304->[10.10.10.188] 0000: 30 81 9F 02 01 01 04 06 70 75 62 6C 69 63 A7 81 0.......public.. 0016: 91 02 04 22 A0 C2 55 02 01 00 02 01 00 30 81 82 ..."..U......0.. 0032: 30 0F 06 08 2B 06 01 02 01 01 03 00 43 03 01 18 0...+.......C... 0048: 9D 30 17 06 0A 2B 06 01 06 03 01 01 04 01 00 06 .0...+.......... 0064: 09 2B 06 01 02 01 0E 10 02 01 30 15 06 09 2B 06 .+........0...+. 0080: 01 02 01 0E 01 01 00 40 08 31 2E 39 2E 38 2E 37 [email protected] 0096: 00 30 16 06 0A 2B 06 01 02 01 0E 09 01 01 01 40 .0...+.........@ 0112: 08 38 2E 38 2E 38 2E 38 00 30 16 06 0A 2B 06 01 .8.8.8.8.0...+.. 0128: 02 01 0E 09 01 02 01 40 08 34 2E 34 2E 34 2E 34 [email protected] 0144: 00 30 0F 06 0A 2B 06 01 02 01 0E 09 01 07 01 02 .0...+.......... 0160: 01 02 .. 2011-07-21 16:15:32 <UNKNOWN> [UDP: [10.10.10.188]:56304->[10.10.10.188]]: DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (71837) 0:11:58.37 SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: OSPF-TRAP-MIB::ospfVirtIfStateChange OSPF-MIB::ospfRouterId.0 = IpAddress: 49.46.57.46 OSPF-MIB::ospfVirtIfAreaId.1 = IpAddress: 56.46.56.46 OSPF-MIB::ospfVirtIfNeighbor.1 = IpAddress: 52.46.52.46 OSPF-MIB::ospfVirtIfState.1 = INTEGER: 2 Am I doing something incorrect. ? .
