The AgentX protocol is designed to pass GET/SET requests
from the master agent, to the subagent. It doesn't support
GET/SET requests passed in the opposite direction.

If your application needs to configure elements of the master
agent, as well as acting as an AgentX subagent, then it will need
set up a separate (SNMP client) connection to do this.
There is no problem in a single application running in multiple
roles - but you can't force both of these into the same connection.
