Hello,
I've just update Net-snmp to the version 5.7.1.
I compile the source with this option on my Solaris 10 x86 environnement :
./configure --prefix="/opt/csw/" --with-default-snmp-version=1
--with-sys-contact=unknown --with-sys-location=unknown
--with-logfile=/var/log/snmpd.log
--with-persistent-directory=/var/opt/csw/net-snmp --without-openssl
--with-mib-modules="ucd-snmp/lmSensors ucd-snmp/diskio smux
mibII/mta_sendmail" --with-transports="UDP TCP Unix"
--disable-embedded-perl --with-perl-modules=no
When i run the snmp daemon, all is ok but i can't check the size of
a mount partition over nfs which have a size over 2TB.
In the snmp.log, i have the message "Cannot statfs /xxxxx : Value too
large for defined data type".
When i snmpwalk UCD-SNMP-MIB:dskTable, value from
UCD-SNMP-MIB::dskTotal, UCD-SNMP-MIB::dskAvail and UCD-SNMP-MIB::dskUsed
still have zero value.
I'm surprised from this result and still surprised that i can't
walk dskTotalLow or dskTotalHigh (cf UCD-SNMP-MIB.txt) that should
resolve my problem.
Did i miss something during the configuration of my net-snmp from the
source package?
Thanks for you help.
Best regards.
