dear users, I'm trying to fetch some informations from our FC switch (hp/brocade silkworm). after some snmpwalking i discovered the correct OID and started a get request - recorded with tcpdump: 16:23:30.695496 IP client.35012 > switch.snmp: C=public GetRequest(54) E:1588.2.1.1.1.28.1.1.4.16.0.0.39.248.47.156.80.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.31 Now the response from the device: 16:23:30.714535 IP switch.snmp > client.35012: C=public GetResponse(60) E:1588.2.1.1.1.28.1.1.4.16.0.0.39.248.10.31.63.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.31="-2.5 " The value is correct, but the OID is different so my monitoring appliance is not accepting the value. I already tried several times to query the response OID in first place, but its changing from time to time and i dont get why. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you in advance Stefan ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download BIRT iHub F-Type - The Free Enterprise-Grade BIRT Server from Actuate!
