Reporting features

Hello All, There are some pretty descent trending and availability reporting features built into Nagios (Netsaint) but I'm wondering if anyone out there has taken data out of the log files and crammed it in an MS Excel spreadsheet. Our applications manager has to report up/down time, etc. to the Directors by using a standard "PBO" format which is in a spreadsheet. The question: Has anyone done any data extraction successfully out of the log/data files in Nagios. I would be especially interested if anyone has ever imported this type data in to a spreadsheet.
