I am unfamilair with the devices you mention but there are at least
three (3) good aproaches for having Netsaint send alerts by SMS

1 A TAP compliant SMS provider and TAP software like Qpage.

This has been discussed quit a lot on this list

2 GSM modems (Falcon, Wavecomm) and 'SMS Link' (see SourceForge)

You need a special modem but you get lots of benefits. For example, in
Australia, VodaPhones modem SMS gateway - outsourced - went away for
over a fortnight.

My employer bought a GSM modem ($100-150 US 12-18 months ago).

3 plain old modem interface to providers SMS gateway using Angelos 'SMS
Client' (see SF again).

You probably want an email interface because that is fast - doesn't hang
Netsaint - and easy to use. 

I think that options 1 and 2 do so.
