Good morning, Yeah, once a service fails a check, one check, regardless of max_check_attempts Netsaint immediately checks the host using the host check command and hammers that until max check attempts. I am suspecting that the hostchecks are taking precedence over any service checks. here is what happened a server went down, netsaint detected this, but did not send out notifications. The server was not in a hostgroup but did have a valid service check. If there was a valid service check why didn't a notification get sent out for the outage? -- Scott D.
