A command called checknt_service that has this output:



Check NT Service by Jan Christian Kaldestad and Hallstein Lohne
Usage:
CheckService <ip> <port> <showall/showfail> <Servicename1>
[Servicename2]
         ... ["Service name3"] [Servicename4] ...

Ex: check_ntservice hostname 1245 showfail "NetSaint Service" Messenger
"Fax Service"

Reply from NTserver(WARNING): "NotActive:Messenger NotActive:Fax
Service" This will display only failed services on destination NTserver.
    showall - services which do not fail will also be shown.
    showfail - only services which are not running will be shown.
(NetSaint can only display about 125 characters, so be sure what to
monitor.) Win32 returncodes which checkService monitors:
SERVICE RESPOND         - NETSAINT RESPOND
Running                 - Returns OK (0)
Does not exit           - Returns WARNING (1)
Is paused               - Returns WARNING (1)
Has not been started    - Returns WARNING (1)
Timout on request       - Returns CRITICAL (2)
Check error.            - Returns CRITICAL (2)
