A quick follow-up:

I've no compiled it with all --enable-DEBUGx statements (0-4) and I get
this as the last lines before SIGSEGVing:

find_service() start
set_service_state_information() end

set_service_state_information() end

set_service_state_information() end
write_to_logs_and_console() start

Caught SIGSEGV, shutting down...
close_command_file() start
close_command_file() end


There are actually a lot more of the find_service calls before it brakes
down.
It also seems to start scheduling checks (before the
find_service-avalanche).
