Hi all, Problem: When using nrpe - i get the error message, "are we allowed to connect to the host?" Scenario: The plugins are all correctly configured as everything works 99% of the time. Sometimes (perhaps when network congestion is at its height) i get this error message relating to multiple hosts. I have played with timeout values (roughly at 240 seconds now) and the usual "timeouts" with plugin "warning and critical" have stopped. Usually this error message is received if a plugin is not correctly configured (on remote host) where the "allowed_hosts" parameter in nrpe.cfg is not correct. The nrpe.cfg in question is correctly configured and therefore this error doesnt make sense globally. Any ideas ?? Thanks for your time and patience, Have a great day!
