Hello,
My apologises cause I know this is kinda FAQ. I checked
the netsaint FAQ page but could not find what I need.
When I open my http://hostname/netsaint/ and browser for
ping, I got error:
-----------
You've got a big problem buddy! You need more args!!!
-----------
and I tried to excute
/usr/local/netsaint/libexec/check_ping isolatedly, with
the arguments:
[root@ns1 libexec]# ./check_ping
Usage: check_ping -H <host_address> -w <wrta>,<wpl>% -c
<crta>,<cpl>%
[-p packets] [-t timeout] [-L]
[root@ns1 libexec]# ./check_ping -H 127.0.0.1 -w
2000.0,60% -c 5000.0,100% -p 5 -t 20 -L
You've got a big problem buddy! You need more args!!!
Cannot open pipe: [root@ns1 libexec]#
It failed.
So what is the right syntax for check_ping? I foun no man
page for check_ping.
My system is redhat 9.0, kernel 2.4.20-8smp, gcc 3.2.2
Thank you in advance.
